For a large number of years, photographer Tobi Wilkinson has been photographing the Gyuto Monks of Tibet. This year's exhibition focuses on their characteristic red robes: their one and only possession. The monks have been wearing the traditional robes for centuries, and although they appear to look exactly the same at first glance, each robe is unique in the way its worn by its owner and the slight difference in red hue.
The exhibition was part of a 13-day program named 'Echoes of Enlightenment' and was visited not only by locals, but also by a group of Gyuto Monks who traveled down to Sydney from Tibet.
